You should include in the original post that you have to have COX internet service to take advantage of this deal. Phenomenal deal otherwise. Haven't seen a $500 off iPhone 15 Pro Max deal anywhere else yet.

Yes, locked to Cox. However, it can be unlocked after 60 days.

Cox is the effing devil. I just went through hell with them when we moved my mother. Told me I could self install the cable (it was just moving from her old to new place). I get there nothing is set up for me to install, I spent 6 hours on the phone with them and nothing was working except for the cable tv when we finished, She has cable, internet and phone through them at the low low price of 291 dollars a month and then they charged her 100 installation fee....for the self install I did..oh and changed her number of 30 years. We opened a ticket that day to get it back and they never responded. Now they are saying the number cannot be released.
Time to write to the FCC.

Verizon is trade in plus the infamous bill credits tying you to them for 3 years plus they sometimes make you move to a more expensive plan.
Plus they usually require you to add a new line . . .

Which unless you just had a child old enough for their own phone this is a deal breaker for an existing phone to be upgraded.

Ok, I ran the numbers and my 2 line family was already looking to upgrade from our iPhone XRs. With this promotion I can save ~2K over a normal 36 month period by giving COX a try with this discount.... and if we don't like them after 60 days we can jump back over to Verizon for the same cost I'm paying now but with a nice new Phone -- so really can't lose here giving them a shot. Which is probably why they've offering this at a potential loss to attract customers (like us).

Verizon in-store only offered me a $350 discount for a direct upgrade, and I must trade-in so really the value is only ~$210 since I can get $140 trade-in value direclty from Apple.

Just ordered 2x for my wife & myself... will have to wait until end of December but that's worth the $1K savings

It is titled "Here's a confirmation of your order". I thought it would be for the phone but it's for the internet price change. Shows $14.99 discount for 2 years.
How long did it take from the time you placed your order before you got this email about the internet discount? I ordered yesterday. All I see about an order is one with subject "Great news - your purchase is confirmed". Then it lists the charges and credits. But the price in this email is more than what I paid on the confirmation page. Did you or anyone else see something like this?
It states these charges will appear on the first bill. So more charges on the phone purchase which is odd.

About an hour after I placed the order. I got an email saying "we received your order" with the phone charges right after placing the order. Mine showed correctly. $499 for the pro + $85 in taxes. In my account page also it shows that is what it will charge my card when the phone is available. Then it says the $10 + $15 will be on the first bill. Maybe the internet discount is YMMV? When going thru the order initially it had a banner at the top saying I would qualify for a discount on my internet by signing up for mobile but I didn't have to do anything extra.

Okay so I'm a current cricket wireless user. I need to sign up with cox mobile for 2 months to be able to have this phone unlocked? Then I can cancel (no fees) and go back to cricket?

Or another option is just to make a new line, get the most basis plan ($15/mo) and just cancel that after two months, and keep my cricket? I'll just have to pay two bills, but am I understanding that correctly?

Trying to make a second order and it know says "need to upgrade interment to qualify for cox mobile". I have 500mbps, unlimted, not. Sure why it doesn't qualify. First order shows in progress, just won't let me add a 2nd line.

Verizon had current customer deals as well. And nothing wrong with bill credits unless you plan to jump around to different carriers all the time.

Could you open a mobile line and downgrade it to a landline (to satisfy the terms) then?
