Might as well add the 1080p model for $10 more. I'm sure there will be at least a few folks who will claim 1080p, even on a 24" TV, should be the bare minimum.

At $ 75, it would've been quite tempting. It's now $ 89.99

Some comments in the Bestbuy website even mention it dropping to $ 60. Would've jumped on that! At least to try it out if it works well as a monitor. Hopefully no weird subpixel dithering.

Actually it's a good option for an RV. And I know it sounds ridiculous but I cook and can't see the living room tv so I could put this in the kitchen on the counter and keep an eye on the games while I'm cooking. A $65 tv so that I can conveniently watch tv while I cook, the exact opposite of minimalism. 😝

I use a 1080p insignia 22" as my small extra tv / everyday monitor for 4 or so years that i got for around $50 during a best buy/google shopping deal. It's held up, super light weight. It's non smart but the USB port powers a 4k stick. Even has fallen off my rolling side table several times by accident and has been okay after. Only issue is photos a bit blurry when full screen. So my version 1080p N10 series vs 1080p f20 which specifices as having the fire tv capability

Indeed. A TV, for me, is a whole lot better than no TV.

Another good option is using a mobile tv cart, we have a 43" mounted on one. Convenient to to roll around a tv between multiple rooms. been waiting for another amazon deal to pop up for a tv cart to mount another tv.

Wouldn't it be better to buy a cheap PC monitor? They are usually 1080p and not 720p.

Got this for my special needs son who breaks things sometimes. Got a 1/4 inch thick piece of acrylic from Lowes and cut to screen size. Attached with gorilla tape clear double stick tape and now the acrylic will take the brunt of anything. 👍
