I got this deal previously. It's working in an iPhone SE 2020. Latency is very bad, around 500 ms, as the server is in the Far East. It also has trouble maintaining tower connection, dropping & reverifying, even in decent signal areas.

That said, I'm glad to have it as a backup.

Requires too much personal information. Would not trust them to keep the data secure. Good luck.

I think the Eskimo site has a list of supported countries. If it's supported, the latency should be fine, as the server location is close.

I'm pretty sure the eSIM cannot be moved to a different phone, so make sure you put it where you want to keep it.

wonder how much of this 1gb gets used up on all the ads google keeps serving up. It has gotten so bad, I can no longer read independent blogs or newspapers without getting overwhelmed with ads and "subscribe!" modals.

Thanks-- perhaps that's a recent change, or I remembered wrong.

I thought it was 1gig per month for 24 months. It's 1 gig total and valid for 24 months.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank dzap

Convoluted process. OTP was annoying. Whatsapp didn't work. SMS didn't work. Email didn't work. Phone did but I had to turn call screening off as Google thought it was a scam and answered for me.

Downloading eSim didn't work. Had to send the QR code to another phone then scan and add it. Manually select the APN. Manually add username and password (that's a first), then manually choose a network (looks like it only works on AT&T LTE) and turn on data roaming. Routes all the traffic through Singapore. Ping averages around 260ms.

I'll keep it for at&t network backup but not something I'd pay for. Thanks OP.
