According to this spec sheet ( https://storage-asset.msi.com/exc...-080US.pdf ), the motherboard in this prebuilt is the PRO B760-VC WIFI. This motherboard has 4 dimm slots, so if you wish to add 2 more sticks to run in a 4 dimm configuration (more stressful on the cpu memory controller, as it remains dual channel), you can. The motherboard's spec page: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/P...cification

This beats every non-refurbished deal available over black Friday and cyber Monday by a decent amount. If you need a new mid-tier gaming prebuilt, and are only willing to purchase in new condition, this is probably the best deal you'll see for quite a while.

32GB unless serious video editing, VMs, 3D modelling, simulation, machine learning, etc.

Otherwise, check to confirm 64 GB is supported on this motherboad.

EDIT: Wow! "Maximum RAM Supported: 192 GB" !! EEK!

Going to make this my new NAS and Plex machine. Who's going to tell me why it wont work? Planning to buy some expansion drives to out in there for more storage
This will use more power/electricity than needed for that setup if a concern for you. You could find something more efficient

Is this better than this one? https://www.walmart.com/ip/CyberP...1593349367

I purchased it last week and its still in the box, wonder if I should return it.
That thing looks pretty good. Better video card for sure. Possibly much better video card with as much as people dump on the 4060. I might actually buy that one. Really strange that it's not getting the traction that this one is.

My local costco has this in stock (out of stock online I know). Is this Costco version worth the extra 300$ ?

If you were to buy the parts yourself in a build, then it would cost more. This is easily one of the best deals on a pre-built computer so far. $700 is a steal.
Excellent Mobo, Excellent Graphics Card as well.

God Dammit! I hate all these options (and love them at the same time). Just yesterday I bought this config at $1549:

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/ibuy...Id=6541529

Now I'm second-guessing myself. Yeah it's a much better system but at more than double the price.

13700KF vs. 13400F
4070 vs 4060
32GB RAM vs 16GB
Liquid cooled CPU vs. air cooled

Coming from an old Dell XPS8900 (i7-6700K + GTX 970 + 64GB RAM)... what to do.

Not a gamer, just productivity driving 3 simultaneous 1440p monitors... I'm thinking the $900 cheaper Wal-Mart config may be just fine as a long-term upgrade and drop a replacement RAM kit.

Thoughts?

A 4060 is about 10-15% slower than a 3070, in case anyone with a previous gen card is looking to upgrade.

Anyone else who cancelled online is still waiting for confirmation of cancellation request?
Requested cancellation at 6 pm yesterday and still showing cancellation requested. Neither cancelled nor shipped. Originally said to be delivered tomorrow. Pretty lame.

Just keep your system. You got a deal over $350 off, looking at the current price.

I tried cancelling the order I placed at $799 because I ordered another one at $699. Will just have to return the 1st one if shipped.

Honestly, if you're just going for productivity (no AI/ML) both options are REALLY overkill.

I have 2x 4K monitors on a Thunderbolt dock and a 2K display from a laptop. Heck, I had an HP laptop with a Ryzen 4700U (no dedicated graphics) that drove the 4K monitors and built-in 1080p (?) screen.

I have 32gb of RAM in both the HP 4700u & Lenovo i7 (I run a lot of VMs).

For productivity, iGPUs can fill the bill of 3x 1440p monitors just fine if the MB has the outputs, or maybe you can leverage a USB-C/Displayport for the 3rd.
