Isn't 1550 filtration supposed to be too hard on furnaces? I was told to use 1100 or 1200 at the most.

These used to be a 3-pack at $29.99 before the price was raised, and now they cut 33% of the product as well. Wonderful times...sigh.

Would these work well in a Corsi Rosenthal Box?

A 4" pleated filter has much more surface area and can have a higher rating. This isn't true for a 1" filter.

I wonder the same. Four 4" filters would be very effective and efficient considering more surface area. And it would last longer, at least an year with heavy usage.

We currently have 20x25x5 MERV 13 in our Goodman system. Anyone know if I can use 20x25x4 in this deal in the same system?

Those always go on sale. These media filters only go on sale a few times a year.
