It's been on the market for less than 4 months. It's life cycle has a ways to go. Being so new, I'll gladly take a $100 discount to have this beast today.
Exactly. Less than four months and already $100 off, for a flagship set. If you know anything about LEGO and how other slow selling, high end sets have faired price wise, this in itself should tell you a LOT.
Lego resale on high dollar sets is a dead market at this point.

Agree. Between alt bricks, used sets, etc., nearly all high end sets in a new and sealed condition are one of the dumber speculative purchases in today's economy.
I'm not sure what's going on with the US Zavvi site, they only have 2 Lego sets for sale. The UK site site still has plenty though.
