That's a $300 price difference, or over 37% more expensive in this case. For many people the added specs will have no real world tangible benefits. If someone wants a thin and light laptop with good battery life for work/school to use with Office 365 and Teams, I'd probably be looking more at the $800 version. Of course there are definitely people that could make use of the added specs, but that doesn't account for every person, or even most people. Just because a better model exists for 37% more money doesn't make this a terrible deal, it's two specs at two different price points that is far enough apart to justify both existing.
How do you post an LG Gram deal and not post the weight of the laptop? It's literally the reason for its existence.
2.87 lbs. You're welcome.

Anti-glare screens are a game changer. Simply can't go back to glossy.

This is a terrible deal considering that they have the 32 GB version, with QHD screen resolution, and 2TB available in Costco for $1099 until July 21st.

I wouldn't recommend it for anyone unless they've never really known anything better. 1080p at over 13 inches is gonna look rough if you've ever used a higher res screen, but for older folks or those with poor eyesight, it might not be that bad. While it's true you can adjust icon/text scaling in windows natively and it is getting better, there is still so much content and so many apps that are designed for 16:9 aspect ratio and 1080p vertical resolution because it's super common.

To me this is a laptop you buy for your aging mother/father that doesn't want a bulky computer but needs a solid performer with good battery life to browse the web, send emails, and maybe use Office occasionally.

Why is the original price on this so low? Is it because of costco? What would full price be at a regular retail (like bestbuy) for this laptop?

No. You don't need to have your face so close to the screen.

I bought an lg gram from Costco and it's had problems. The usb-c quit on me and that's the only way to charge it. Sent it in for a repair and lost alot of files. Came back and a week later the usb-c is acting up again. Also, Costco had a $200 rebate if you send in a laptop, sent in received email from third party it was approved but never received the Costco card. Called Costco and the third party and no one would help. Use to always buying dell latitudes (business laptop) from dells outlet and never had problems with those. This is just for your info. The laptop is light and thin though.

So many people just have to google to find out what they want to know, but they'd rather have someone else do it for them. Yes, it was up above if they read comments laugh out loud
Reminds of the baby in a crib reaching his hand in the air opening and closing a fist for his bottle. LMAO

That's 16 inches, this is 15.6. And yes, that can be important for some people, like me, where the extra half-inch is the difference between one that fits in my backpack and briefcase and one that doesn't.

And as pezzie said...$300 more expensive.
