More songs? I thought that's where subscriptions come in. All they do is mix around a small sample and call it by the year. Such a lame system. Lazy developers. The base game is terrible. It's just advertising sample. Paying for advertising.. double lame.

And it says it right there.. code in box!! Why waste resources on this? It's hooking the WRONG audience and duping them with "haha no cartridge for u". Know your audience. This is the worst delivery system. If u want digital sales go digital. No place for digital sales in a video game case. That is so lame I don't even have a word to express the level of deep lameness I feel for this practice. Is it like one greedy man enslaving his employees for minimum wage and not knowing his customers? Getting money from both parties that is the foundation of the infrastructure. How is this industry working? We need to stop greedy man exploiting the system.

I agree that selling a full empty case with a download code is misleading and wasteful, it should be banned as it's promoting more unnecessary trash in landfills. They should just sell a normal gift card with the code if they want to sell a "physical downloadable" edition.

My kid loves this game when I got the 2023 for cheap this year. Only thing that I hated was logging into Ubisoft (very cumbersome and should have instead been QR based) and how easy it is for it t ago into the 2024 section, resulting in "I can't play that??? Frown"

The sub only gives you songs up to the version you own.

So if you have 2021 version you don't get songs from 22,23,24 even if you had sub.

Exactly his point. They could actually let the version of years past to take the new songs, but instead they release a new game per year just to make the previous one NOT connect with the extra songs they releases every year.


That on my book is Laziness. This developer is the worst of it's kind. Look at Beat Saber, small indie developers, but they stand by their product. They keep adding songs people can buy. But, they don't put out a new "Beat Saber" every year just to get others but the newest songs.

My family likes to dance, so I own PS versions (PS4 and PS5) going back to 2014. In addition to limitations mentioned (capping the online library based on the disc version), not all songs from the prior versions of the discs are available online. Ubisoft is generally tricky.

Can you not buy new songs? E.g.I have 2021 disc but can I buy (with $$) songs from 2023 or 2024? Like if I want to give them $? Legit question as my kids would potentially be into this so want to know genuinely.
