Yes, 5k2k is very helpful for productivity. I wonder why it's not widely available. I guess I just got a lemon with ghosting and defected USB-C. Need to contact Deco before it's too late.
Yeah I would contact them. Tbh seems like you can save a ton of money with a similar maybe even the same panel of lg/dell but the quality and bells and whistles are not going to be there. I wish there was an official comparison/review out there but I think it is too new for now.

Those bells and whistles are not very important. I care more about reliability. TBH, 4K IPS monitors are so common & cheap now, I don't know why 5K2K are still in $1k-$1.5k range for the big players.

The build quality of this monitor and the packaging of the box was not good. The one I got has the screen slightly damaged on the bottom right corner. I ended up returning.

I've been using this for a couple of weeks with MacBook Pro M1 and I can confirm this monitor works best when connected to USB-c. No ghosting whatsoever since it can go up to 75 hz. But when I connected to HDMI, it couldn't go beyond 30 hz hence the ghosting others are complaining. resolution can't reach 5k2k because of HDMI 2.0. So if you can't use usb-c/display port, don't get this monitor. Haven't tried display port though. This monitor works as a hub when connected to USB-c and has 4 USB-a ports. All of them work. My only CON would be when the laptop goes to sleep, sometimes I have to power cycle the monitor to connect it with laptop. Other than that, I am more than happy with my purchase. I use LG 34" ultra wide 5k2k IPS at work and I can confirm that the panel resolution is almost similar so I am sure this monitor uses LG's IPS panel.
