Note this is the 2 ton version, not 3 ton reviewed by project farm. Should be fine for sedan and small SUV but not large truck and lerge SUV

These don't lift a vehicle. They hold a vehicle after it has been lifted by a jack.

Definitely need a laptop more than jack stands with EVs since they puff the magic smoke more than break.

Not to ask a dumb question - but is this fine for just changing a tire roadside? I have two small beater vehicles that don't have a Jack but a spare tire in them and would like the peace of mind that I can change if I did get a flat driving around. Everyone here is asking about oil changes and such.

That makes more sense. I didn't think jacks were that cheap. Appreciate it đź‘Ť

You can get a scissor jack from Harbor Freight for $20. Those work better than a normal jack for emergency tire changes because of their low clearance. The clearance decreases when you have a flat tire obviously, so even my extra low profile jack wouldn't fit under a friend's car when they had a flat tire.

Any Prius owners here ? Can I use these with my stock included tire jack to do an oil change ?
One DIY oil change will pay for the stands.
I use ramps when I change my Prius oil

What jack would you recommend?
If you are going to trust your life to a $20 jack stand may as well use one of these nice jacks from Temu! LMAO

Just note that this model/ style does not have a safety pin that goes through the bottom of the jack.

I for one don't want to be under a car with something holding it up that does not have a back up pin for safety

See example:
https://www.amazon.com/Torin-Big-...=1-12&th=1

It's not worth saving the $20... my life is worth the extra twenty bucks.
