I bought this coat a couple weeks ago when it was on sale for 30% off. Went in and got a price adjustment to this price. For $125, I feel like this is a steal. I'm surprised at how warm this coat keeps me in 10 degree weather even. It's so light and easy to bring anywhere too. Fits me very well, but isn't as athletic cut as a lot of the puffer down coats - for me that's a good thing lol

I think that's the weight of the entire jacket, not of the fill.

For the price it's one of the best down jackets on the market. I've had mine for 2 years now and it sees year round use. Its packability and weight is a huge plus too.

It's been 40-50% off pretty much nonstop since I first spotted it in October. It'll probably be half off again by 2024. I have their 100 year anniversary version of it from two years ago when I got it for 75%ish off back then (retail was $499) and it's a crazy good jacket, even for half off today's retail. Back then, any 1000 fill jacket was like $750+.

Yea last time a REI "sale" happened they canceled my whole order due to "stock errors" and that was that. Now they still pepper me with advertisements. Don't think I'll waste my time shopping them again.
