This has saved my partner 25 mins a day she says. She doesn't use any of the attachments, but says it's because there isn't enough counter space in the bathroom to have them out. Anyway, $25 minutes a day, even for a year, justifies this price in my opinion.

I really want to get my wife a good hair dryer for Christmas but I've driven myself crazy trying to compare and find best deal. I missed all black Fri and cyber Monday deals because I'm so confused as to what is a good deal. Seems like Dyson is top tier though. She'd get a lot of use out of it. Damn. What to do, what to do?

The Dyson and the Shark HyperAir seem to be the top 2. The Shark is about half the price of the Dyson but doesn't have quite as many attachments available. Reviews seem to be a toss up between who prefers which over the other one (which requires them to have tried both) but most of the people who bought one or the other seem happy with whichever one they chose. Of note, Shark seems to now be promoting the newer Speedstyle model they have which is smaller and lighter but seems to have more attachments. I have no idea how that compares but most people seem to agree that the HyperAir is the closest thing to the SuperSonic in performance and function.
not a bad price, but I don't really trust the seller when they try to make if appear as if you are getting more than 50% off. this hair dryer has never been $799.99. they are trying to scam the customer. dyson has it for $100 off plus you can get up to 10% cash back right now and a free gift worth $59.99. more reliable to buy directly from dyson.

Thank you. I've had that hyper air in my cart a few times but haven't pulled the trigger. I think that's gonna be the one though. Thanks for the info
