Personally I'd prefer a model with a touchscreen (for better support of Android apps) but this otherwise checks every other box for a great Chromebook experience at this price (solid Intel CPU, 8GB of RAM vs. 4GB, 1080p display).

Consider that local file storage isn't typically a priority in Chrome OS and the only real drivers of local storage consumption tend to be Android applications and/or the ChromeOS linux sandbox (all of which are optional installation items).
