Allow me to suggest using these as an S&S filler, as five cost-effective items in one month is always a stretch for me. There's already like 40 catnip mice somewhere in this house.
The Equate cotton swabs have been pretty terrible post-pandemic, I think I can continue taking one for Team Cheapskate.

Yes the 5% increase in savings reduces something that you have to buy monthly or bi-monthly anyways, that's pretty smart. there is nothing however that I actually need on such a regular basis to make sense to try to do subscribe and say. even if I do need something someone regularly it's intermittent and usually not the same amount of time in between so...

Oh, I skipped out on the "regular basis" part pre-2010s. I generally use S&S to take advantage of "first delivery" coupons and place orders I can wait a month to be delivered at 15% off. I always sign up for the "6 month" frequency and I generally press "skip" for all the items in my upcoming delivery every month, canceling most subscriptions I create. In a month where I really want 5 items delivered, I edit subscriptions to change the "next delivery" date to the current month. My 5 items may include duplicates of the same item at quantity 1.
This requires dedication to monthly micromanagement to avoid receiving a mystery delivery of stuff you don't really need more of. Will I get in trouble for this? Tough to say, haven't yet.

I'll never buy generic cotton swabs again.
Also, insert stupid engagement bait question here about can I use this to clean my ears or whatever.
