Went to my local Home Depot store yesterday and found one of these lights randomly. yellow clearance sticker of $9.99. Asked if there were anymore and they said that was it but another store had more. Went there today and they were in a regular cardboard sale/black Friday rack in the middle of the main aisle. White sticker price of $9.99.

One of these is like flipping on the daylight in a room. I had an old set of halogen on a portable telescoping stand, so I wanted two lights. I just swapped them out and with both of them on it is like the sun is in the room. Pretty happy I was able to refab this and use it more for $20. I'll either get a dedicated a tri-tap extension cord for it or just put a little dual outlet adapter on it and then any extension cord is fine.

Has brickseek become popular that they require sign in before providing the info?

Does anyone know how accurate the 10,000 claim is? I'm looking for a light that can cook a chicken faster than slapping it at the speed of sound.

I have a Milwaukee Rocket Light, this will blow it out of the water. M18 is allegedly 6k lumen combine from 3 heads, likely true rating, this is much more powerful with a nice throw. I don't see much use for it as its brighter than needed for indoors and unless you're working a large distance from the light, this will not be your best option.

When I say its like looking into the sun, its close. More like looking directly into HID headlights on new vehicles.

Great for large light volume at distance.

I need something like this for renovations on my crawl space. Would it light everything up?

I have one. Very bright. I don't love the little 'stand' though. Particularly if I need to hang this from anything. Just no good way to do it without really rigging something. Otherwise, it's fine tho for what it is.

Might not be bad to use with a portable battery backup you might have around for emergencies. No need to lug a cord and get 2-3 hours of light.

I have no way to measure it except I turned it on in a dark room and it lit the entire room very brightly. The bigger LED array seemed to help with shadows as well. My shadow puppet test was pretty diffused.

I have a hybrid (battery or plug) Ryobi 3 panel LED light that says it is 3000 lumen and this is significantly brighter than that. This also is a niver like at like a 4000k temp, The ryobi is much whiter.

Got one a few years back and its been helpful when working outside.

Brickseek shows 1-2 near me at online price, is that accurate or worth it to check?

I saw a comment about this on the old post, so I just went and tried it. I have a Ryobi 150w inverter/charger.

1 Light - High/Low - no problem
2 Lights - Low and Low - no problem
2 Lights - Low and high - no problem
2 Lights - high and high - NOPE.

Which Makes enough sense. The HD website says these are 100w each. 150w inverter. and I can get one on high and one on half. No idea how long they'd run. But it works.
