These are terrible quality. They have gone as low as $5 in the past and not worth it even at that price.

Bauer outperforms most big names on almost every YT channel that tests these sort of things. Bosch runs middle of the road, but understand most of these brands run within a few percent of each other on most tests. Even brands that score poorly, like Warrior, are usually not more than 20% behind, but they cost 60% less. That math ain't hard. Swapping in a fresh bit will always perform better.

DeWalt Nikita Milwaukee even Ryobi is better than this. Black and Decker probably out preformes this kit. DeWalt kit on sale 9.99 for drill bits at home depot for bf.
thanks - I am not really worried about the price as much as I am just getting a set that will function.

All the comments saying these bits are crap are accurate (I have this set, regrettably).

HOWEVER, all the Bosch bits I've gotten in their "Custom Case" line have been some of the best I've used, and moreover, the cases are also great!

So all of these people that say "skip it," what do you recommend?

Just picked up a drill/driver and impact. I need bits and have none.

What do you recommend?

Thanks!
I've had cheap sets even from Makita, even though their tools are good. Milwaukee has been the best out of big store brands for me. For wood, I like Wood Owl bits.

They both are trash compared to Milwaukee & Dewalt but Bosch still costs damn near as much somehow. I'd definitely buy ryobi over Bosch though just for the sole fact it's cheaper & they come out with new tools much more frequently than Bosch with its outdated overpriced selection. I have Milwaukee, dewalt & Ryobi for my dad. Haven't had one tool fail on me after years of abuse. I once dropped a dewlt xr impact from 3 stores up like 4 years ago and the plastic housing cracked. Ran it ducked taped togther for 6 months then got a new housing on eBay for $10 and transferred the guts. Use it everyday to this day. Dropped my dewalt drill from 2 stores up on a lift twice and still works like new. Ryobi's brushless stuff isn't bad though. If they didn't have the stigma from years past and they changed the color from green to yellow or red I bet people would think it's on par with the best.

Well just today (and only for today), Lowe's actually has a legitimate deal amongst their typically comical "Deals of the Day". Which would be ideal for somebody that just picked up a deal on a drlll/driver and is looking for driver bits…

Tell everyone You are either an idiot or inexperienced without telling everyone that. Sounds like you either buy expensive tools and not use them or you have never actually used and compared power tools before.
