Nope. Check your order agreement. Even Elon said a bunch of times over the last few years that they would be raising prices due to inflation.
Model Y costs less now than it did prior to covid. All the "inflated" costs have been driven down. Tesla is selling vehicles with less profit margins to be competitive and move vehicles they're building.

CT price increase is almost exclusively due to capitalizing on the backlog, and to quickly recoup costs in development of the vehicle. While they hope the vehicle will sell well for a long time, Tesla has no guarantee of that. So it's logical they charge as much as they can to recoup what they can. If demand wanes, then prices will drop just like their other vehicles.

People forget the goal of CT, it was to make a truck cheaply. The design, materials, battery, lack of paint, all of it worked towards that goal. And now it's selling for as much as their premium vehicles.

To make this more slick, starting November 30th, Tesla is offering Cybertruck reservation holders the opportunity to buy a new Model 3/Y/S/X and get $1,000 USD off their new order.
NICE! So I can order one and save $1,000 OR I can get one from existing inventory and save $3,000....Typical Tesla marketing BS....

Lol the cybertruck after all that build up is a total flop.
Significantly more expensive, significantly less range than promised, absolutely no info on tow range (hilarious), and still ugly as hell with probably a ton of quality control issues.

If you need an EV pickup just go with the Rivian or F150, seems like a no brainer

No, far worse.

It's 30k more for the AWD, from 50k to 80k.

It's 46k more for the tri motor ([from 70k to 116k], you have to include the 16k battery pack extension to boost the range) and even then its still not up to 500 miles it originally claimed.

I was a buyer at 70k for that range, but without the range and without the price, the two major things it had going for it are gone. Not a buyer now, but once the people with more cash than sense dry up, Tesla will drop the price like they have done for every other model.

Since you obviously have never driven a 911 maybe you don't understand what that world is about.

I'll give you a hint. The 911 is not a quarter mile car. And it will lap the Cyberbeast LMAO on a track
Cybertruck will lap 911 not only in drag race, but off-road races. And it can tow 911 to a mechanic shop on the way back lol

excited to finally see one on the road.

beating a 911 while towing a 911 in the quarter mile was pretty bada$$
I would've been impressed if they took the lowest trim 911 and lowest trim cybertruck and race those 2. I can bet you that donkey trash RWD cybertruck will still be near the starting while that 911 took off. Seriously.. $61k for a underpowered hidden specs cybertruck that they don't dare reveal on their ordering page. What's up with that?
