If it's an issue with the entire line, the ones sold as new will usually have the same probability of having the same issue.
Wouldn't you rather they take care of it before you buy it, rather than discover it later and have to go through the warranty process?

The motherboard apparently uses the H670 chipset, which should be compatible up to the 14th gen if a BIOS update is available.
To me, that just means that you shouldn't buy hardware just for the sake of benchmarking.
It's hard to go wrong when you know what software you plan to use and then just buy the best hardware for the job.
