The stigma about "refurbished" electronics is really odd, especially if it's not something you'd be able to fix yourself.

If it's an issue with the entire line, the ones sold as new will usually have the same probability of having the same issue.

Wouldn't you rather they take care of it before you buy it, rather than discover it later and have to go through the warranty process?

I received the deal with the 3080. Mine arrived without an airbag, the fans on the GPU did not work. Tried manual settings with Acer Sense and Nvidia Experience apps. So I sent it back. When I tried to reset the pc before sending it back, that kept crashing. I'm not sure about their quality control, but am wondering if I should give them another chance with this deal. Since returns are straight forward only have the time wasted. I've bought plenty of refurbed items in the past without any issues.

I got mine and it was DOA, didnt want to go thru the warranty process so I sent it back for refund, so here I am again. But I really would prefer the 3080 over 3070 so I'm prob going to wait.

Mine arrived damaged as well. They didn't screw in the GPU bracket and it literally ripped the PCI slot out of the motherboard. Otherwise it would have been fine. I initiated a return as well.
