The SOC code for the plan is MI30TI for taxes included plans (most people) and MI30TE for taxes excluded (those on plans like simple choice that don't include taxes).
I was personally able to sign up for this plan on a new account earlier today via T-Force on twitter (@tmobilehelp). I simply asked for the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB Plan". I also had a spare SIM card laying around that they were able to activate immediately, and they kindly waived the activation fee (called "DCC" or "Device Connection Charge"). YMMV on if they're able to waive that fee though.
Also, if you ever did the T-Mobile "free trial" that came with the free hotspot to use, that device will technically work for this plan, but you won't have 5G since it's an LTE modem.

I was not aggressive enough to snag the $10 business lines for tablets and trying to go tablet in recent days was a nightmare. This was perfect for my needs but kept a secret since August!

Offer codes also called as SOC codes (corrected) .. to MI30TI from MI10TI. I mentioned the code but CS was able to pull up the offer without code. But ensure you are getting 30 GB $10 per month with Auro pay regardless of which offer code from below is used.
MI10TI (Mobile internet 30GB Taxes included) .
MI30TI (basic internet hotspot with taxes included)
1. Ordered Franklin T10 Mobile Hotspot device (free with 24 month credits) - Sales tax $5.96(per ur state): Be mindful of the contract and SSN as its credits. Skip the device and purchase on eBay, if you don't want this.
2. Monthly $10- 30 GB Data plan - With Auto pay.
3. CS was kind enough to waived off $35 activation fee. Just state one of your friend got this and recommended TMO and ur now calling.
Edit: Seems TMO can waive off activation if you have Costco Membership ID , if that works for you. If not just put a kind request , and they may do it too.
4. Appears TMO Tuesday are applicable.
need to call back activate TMO to activate the HotSpot once I receive it.
This would be a steal if you have a cheap unlimited calling free and supplement Pocket Wi-Fi data.
Will update once I activate the device, but this may not last long so just grab it and cancel if you don't see it right.
