I bought one based on Amazon reviews. But Amazon reviews can be fake. Is it a good buy?

From what I have read there is an older model that is 14.5amp. That is the one you want. Sun Joe SPX3000 14.5-Amp Electric High Pressure Washer, Cleans Cars/Fences/Patios https://a.co/d/5YgBlNU

From doing research before buying a small pressure washer this summer, I learned that the PSI is not really as important as the gallons per minute. The gallons per minute on this model is listed at 1.6, that's on the lower end for these smaller models.

The 14.5amp version is 1.76gpm mildly better.

Depends on what you're using for. For cleaning like Concrete or such you want High PSI, and for like Washing Cars you want more GPM. Also, those PSI and GPM advertised numbers on that Sun Joe are MAX PSI and GPM, they aren't realistic. If you would to hook up a 3/8 Pressure Washer Gauge to measure accurate PSI numbers, the machine would likely be around 1600-1750 or so, and around 1.25-1.3 GPM. What you want is Rated/Working PSI and GPM, these are the real-world numbers.

I've had so many poor experiences with these budget washers including sun joe (I do have their battery garden tools which I like) , tubes braking leaking etc. I just don't think they're worth it.

Mine was terrible. Stopped dispensing soap and now it just turns on and off and no water pressure. Junk

I've had one for years. Works good. Make sure to store in basement during winter.
