GameStop is offering $25 off $250 when you pickup in store. Should at least cover tax in some cases!

Just because you said this. I'm purchasing a switch for my kids with this deal and direct registering more shares next week.

Fair enough, but the issue is that the company increased the price of the membership and is now taking away part of the benefits. Imagine if when Sony increased the ps plus prices and announced a couple months later that they were no longer offering "free" games monthly with the program. People would be fired up.

Ultimately, people need to just realize what they're dealing with when they buy from GameStop. When you buy a "new" game, there's a good chance it has already been opened, free shipping doesn't exist at a reasonable price, often times game sales are on games that aren't in inventory, and constant unknown restrictions on member perks.

Reality is that GameStop is pushing themselves closer to extinction with these practices. We don't need GameStop, but we do need physical games.
