Fair enough, but the issue is that the company increased the price of the membership and is now taking away part of the benefits. Imagine if when Sony increased the ps plus prices and announced a couple months later that they were no longer offering "free" games monthly with the program. People would be fired up.

Ultimately, people need to just realize what they're dealing with when they buy from GameStop. When you buy a "new" game, there's a good chance it has already been opened, free shipping doesn't exist at a reasonable price, often times game sales are on games that aren't in inventory, and constant unknown restrictions on member perks.

Reality is that GameStop is pushing themselves closer to extinction with these practices. We don't need GameStop, but we do need physical games.

I preordered the new Dragon Quest Monsters game a week ago. Went to go pick it up yesterday morning. The first employee told me it didn't come out until December 1...even though it was December 1. The second one wasn't aware either, and apparently they didn't even have any copies even though they'd allowed preorders and the TV screen was playing the trailer for it in the background. They had to get the district manager to go to other stores looking for a copy and I had to leave and come back hours later.

GameStop sucks. Can't wait to not renew my "Pro" membership. Not only did they raise the price form $15 to $25, but you can't use the monthly coupon on digital items anymore and it only works in-store.

Yep, my pro expires in Dec. They ask me every time I'm in there to renew. They blocked so many things that actually made it worth pursuing for.

I STILL cannot redeem my points for store or online credit on their website. Filing a complaint doesn't work. This is a horrible company with horrible customer service.
