Fair enough, but the issue is that the company increased the price of the membership and is now taking away part of the benefits. Imagine if when Sony increased the ps plus prices and announced a couple months later that they were no longer offering "free" games monthly with the program. People would be fired up.
Ultimately, people need to just realize what they're dealing with when they buy from GameStop. When you buy a "new" game, there's a good chance it has already been opened, free shipping doesn't exist at a reasonable price, often times game sales are on games that aren't in inventory, and constant unknown restrictions on member perks.
Reality is that GameStop is pushing themselves closer to extinction with these practices. We don't need GameStop, but we do need physical games.
That's garbage if true. I just used my November rewards 4 days ago for a $10 Nintendo card. Hope it doesn't stick. If so I'll buy a single Pokémon card pack each month and won't be renewing.
So you can use the $5 off coupon for items less than $5 in store? I know I've heard about folks getting a "free pack per month" but is it the $3.99 or $4.99 variation?
Interested since I have to find something to spend my coupon on now, ugh.

yes I was able to do this when in a pinch to burn the $5 monthly. Another option i got away with pretty often was (if you didnt spend the coupon by the 27th? of each month) the system automatically locked you out from using it at all that month, so I would call on the 28th or last day of the month to CS and tell them I couldnt use the coupon and they would just hard credit my account the 5k points. I did this a few times through out the year.
Ive officially got 4k points to burn and my DEC $5 so im gonna hit up GS tomorrow probably and get the crown zenith ETB. At that point, I will officially have my hands wiped clean with GME BS. It'll suck in someways maybe? but theirs really nothing left good from them.
Can confirm. The GS that I go to told me that they can no longer use my 5 dollar monthly for the ps store gift cards. Well, it was great while it lasted. Last 3 months of my pro. Not going to extend it. Good thing they forced me to use all my points before December!
The comments in here are wild. Why do some of you need to post their hate of a dedicated video game store? Do you really want a future where you buy everything from bezos then bitch about no places to shop in person? Can't have it both

Lately I unable to redeem reward points. Also $ monthly reward no longer work with digital purchase. Pro membership is pretty useless to me now.
I didn't know they were doing this, and I've always left my membership on auto renewal. I think I'm a month or two into the the new year and found out Friday they stopped doing it when I went it.
It's worthless now because everything is overpriced. I'm submitted a dispute w my cc company.
GME got me a down payment on my home, but great googly moogly I don't know why this company exists anymore.

According to their return policy, I can return it for a full refund if returned within 14 days of purchase.
It's only been 3 days when I started having issues with the sd card slot not recognizing my sd card.
I returned it, but I was charged with a re-stocking fee (5%)
F!@# Gamestop
Also it's the best deal for memberships going. You pay $15 for an account and each month get $10 gift cards for $5. Can't beat it.
