We have several Rtic and hydro flask bottles. The Rtic are very strong, no rust etc and are very cheap compared to other brands. The hydro flask have nicer lids. I have never seen rust on the hydro flask bottles. The hydro flasks are extremely thin though. They dent VERY easily. If you drop one, just assume it will have a dent when you pick it up. Rtic bottles, on the other hand. Are nearly impossible to dent. They are also reenforced around the bottom. At $20, I'll go with the hydro flask for the better lid. I wouldn't buy them again for my elementary school kids though.

Been a huge fan of Hydro Flash but gf converted me over to owala bottles recently. Different in design and look but I feel like it keeps the ice much longer.
