Except it's not from COSTCO .. the brand is Cosco and it's from Walmart lol
Got this 3 weeks ago just did a return to reorder at lower price. I'm 280lb and this thing is rock solid. The top step is huge and gives me a reach of 12ft. The carry handle locks it together making it real nice. This is my go to ladder from now on. I have 4 other types but nothing compares.

Reviews on their site have people saying it was $70 on sale as recently as 2020. Is this actually a deal and what is normal pricing?

Also, just looking at how high the cross bar support is, I'm almost certain there would be a lot of twisting possible when the ladder is used on anything not perfectly level... thoughts from owners?

First thing I noticed as well regarding twisting/instability. Seems like there's lots of opportunities to torque the legs. Hoping somebody with hands on experience can come chime in

I would rather have a 8 foot regular Werner ladder for half the price, this doesn't do anything special like adjustable legs or something cool, it just looks like an over priced gimmick.

I was looking for something easy to get in and out of the garage attic. I have the little giant and yeah it is heavyish for maneuvering in the space. I am sure this is way lighter. I was originally looking at the
"Steps" version where you just walk up and down like steps but I did not think it was tall enough. I'm on the fence. Could just save the cash and deal. Not sure.

Ladder safety is no joke. Most ladder injuries are from improper use of ladders, not a faulty design. No ladder should be used if the legs can't be placed level. Using a ladder that isn't level is asking for trouble.
Ladder levelers are a must use whenever legs are going to be on uneven planes.

22 lbs weight for 8 ft reach. I would buy the Little Giant ladder 14.3 ft from Lowe's. It's 25.5 lbs and 7 ft reach with A frame but more stable.

Thanks for the helpful thoughts! If you don't mind sharing a bit more, have you used it on uneven lawn/landscaping or other surfaces one might find themselves on while hanging Christmas lights on trees and such? How would you expect its stability to compare there vs traditional a-frame stepladders?

I used it in a wood chip flower bed to do outside lights with no issue. For the weight there just isn't anything better. Heavier ladders would probably do a better job but I hate lugging them around. I had a fiberglass ladder snap on me 10 years ago so I am pretty careful on safety and this makes me feel safe.

This is the exact answer I was looking for as I was debating this or a fiberglass 8'. Thanks again!!
