Because it fits in and in some cases comes with the large tough system case. This version does not come with said case but even if you do buy the case separately it's cheaper than buying the set but you lose getting the full size top tray.

Doesn't look like the acme deal on the 192 piece set from last week is going to ship. Mine is still sitting in limbo. Think I should get this and just forget about the other set? I got it with an additional discount from the "secretion of bee" website so it was around 105 total.

This tool set with the tool box set usually go for $150 when on sale and you can buy it separately now for $127. This is a great price.

This set is the tools and tray part no. DWMT45226, the same set with the toolbox is DWMT45226H.

Dig around HD website, they have 2-packs, 4-packs, foam inserts, & all sorts of combos w/all of them... Haven't purchased any yet myself, but reading Q&A they fit Toughsystem 2.0 22" boxes ONLY & NOT T.S. 1.0, but the "medium" 2.0 is the case for this set, I believe... EDIT: They do fit the "large" size boxes as well, to clarify.
