I tried this brand before and I would say it is builder quality. I changed it with a famous brand in a month and wao what a difference . Both were same hon and I was shock how different they were. Most builder uses similar quality to make big houses cheap but from my experience avoid these ones. If you want cheap just get online (no brand ones) cheaper and same quality if you pick the right one. Other wise pay more for a good brand in my opinion with actual brass body .y house still has super old faucets from long long time ago solid brass and they smoke any of these new ones after generations of use
Bought it this morning. Just installed it. Really easy to install works great. Needed to upgrade my faucet. Glad I saw this. TU!
I'm in residential property management and glacier bay quality is barely acceptable. If they are not defective out of the box, they typically last 3-5 years. The bath faucets seem to be better than the kitchen. Don't even think about installing a glacier bay shower valve kit. Generally speaking the life of the fixture depends a lot on how hard your water is.

Anyone have experience with glacier bay faucets?
I have a similar style kitchen faucet and the handle has gotten stiff whenever I use it.

Wondering if they have lifetime warranty such as delta cartridges

I have a feeling that they won't give you free replacement cartridges (once you determine that is your problem and call Delta about it to prove ownership, which is the main wear and tear part of any single handle kitchen faucets, and which once they start to go bad they cause leaks from the faucet head; in my Delta single handle faucet these cartridges, that are made of silicon and plastic , need replacing every 3-4 years and they warranty that part for normal use, and send you replacement for free when you ask for it), like Delta faucets would, due to the wording of the limited lifetime warranty seen in the warranty terms page on that HD product listing page and linked here (https://docs.google.com/gview?emb...3617274715)

"This warranty excludes normal wear and tear." Ummm well what is the point of that then? Someone who owns this faucet brand would need to reply about how ordering a regular use part such as the cartridge (the main item that will need replacing after at least 2-3 years of ownership of this faucet) to know if they ship it to you for free by calling the phone number as the original owner with receipt to prove that faucet purchase.

It doesn't show the buttons. I love my pull down faucet, but HATE that it doesn't have a pause button to stop/start the stream directly from the head (once the main handle is turned on).

Currently have a glacier bay kitchen faucet and had to replace the OE head because the spray function would not switch between the two anymore. No OE replacement heads so I went aftermarket and on my 2nd aftermarket since those don't last. Ended up buying the MOEN faucet deal yesterday as ours was needed for an upgrade badly. I'd steer away from glacier bay.

I prefer the cheap Chinese brands on Amazon. I learned that if you don't want to pay for something fancy like Hansgrohe, buy it cheap on Amazon. Cheap Amazon stuff, for me, lasts way longer than cheap Home Depot stuff.

This looks almost identical to the $99 Moen deal. Is the Moen worth $40 more?

I would recommend brands that are carried everywhere because the replacement parts will likely be carried everywhere.

I personally stopped buying Glacier Bay because the last time I had to replace a Glacier Bay shower cartridge I went to Home depot and discovered that they stopped carrying the replacement. This is when I learned from a plumbing supply store that Glacier Bay is exclusive to Home Depot so I was out of luck... almost. I ended up finding it from some unknown plumbing supply store online.
I even bought a newer shower faucet that looked similar thinking that I could strip it for parts but the internals were different and I would have needed to rip out the wall to replace it.
Lucky for me, my shower cartridge had a bad leak but I could mitigate it somewhat. I would have to have a full blown leak and have to wait weeks for a part to ship from some random plumbing store online.

I have yet to replace a cartridge. I thought you just need to replace o-rings.
And why is everyone using the soap dispenser instead of using the hole for the dishwasher vent??

In my case, the ceramic of the cartridge that holds the rubber pieces had broken.

The soap dispenser is optional, they probably just provide it to have it match if you don't have anything to fill the hole with. In my sink, we used to have the spray wand and then I replaced it with a soap dispenser when I got a faucet with pull out nozzle. It's all optional.

You get what you pay for. Invest in a quality brand like Grohe, Kohler etc. and you don't have to worry about the faucet for 20-25 years. Install a cheap one and you will pay more in replacement and labor costs(If not handy) for the same period and possible damage from leaks.
