Won't last long at this price? It looks like a really basic small scissors and mini stapler with some tape and glue. What makes this worth even $20? The case?

As with 90% of overpriced branded items: aesthetics and convenience. The brand too, probably since I'm not familiar with Japanese brands. And tbf, even if you can get each of those items for $1 each, that's already $8 without the case. It also retails on Amazon for $65 so I can see it being a good deal for a specific group of people lol
Seems cool but I'm a little puzzled by the SIM card ejection tool included in this kit and taking up the middle slot. Are kids swapping SIMs more than ever these days or is this supposed to be for unjamming graphite in a mechanical pencil?

Memory cards also use the same SIM card slot. Actually had to use one yesterday to swap out the memory card from my phone. Rare, but when you need to do it, you usually need a specialized 'sim card ejection pick'.
Every phone comes with one, but they're so tiny it's the first thing you lose.

Definitely don't need a specialized sim tool 😂 you can use a wide variety of commonly available items instead, such as an earring, thumbtack, sewing needle, pin, piece of wire, etc. That said, I suppose the fact these tools exist at all indicates people's lack of creativity.

I've tried the sewing needle. Don't like how it stabs. No paper clips thin enough. Toothpicks don't fit. I don't wear earrings.
If and when, I just use my dedicated ejection tool lol
promo code GETGUARDID20 for 20% off or welcome15 for 15%
THANK YOU! The 20% coupon worked great.
Bought it as a stocking stuffer for a college student but I'm guessing the cutting instrument(s) will require it to be check in baggage only. Can't tell if the tape and the glue is easy to refill with US versions, but it seems well designed and a bargain for $20.
