I have LG and BOE. Any difference is VERY exaggerated
I did seem to notice on a black screen if I looked at it from an angle it looked awfully bright, like light bleeding through. Was expecting better angled viewing being an IPS. Haven't used it for more than a couple hours yet so I'll fiddle with it some more and see if it is really an issue or not.
I also could only choose up to 75hz. I'm not sure if that is a limitation of the HDMI cables I'm using or my old graphics card or a setting on the monitor.

Get a VA panel if backlight bleeding bothers you.
It's the brightness, and the buzzing cycles on and off during videos when it gets dark (buzzing) and bright (no buzzing).
There's no way to change the settings on the monitor, they are all greyed out unless you use Omen hub. But I just calibrated with windows (the monitor was very red, except the edges/corners where yellow) to up the brightness.
I will be returning, I think.
