Is this better than the $800 deal on the "Lenovo Legion 5: 15.6" WQHD 165Hz, Ryzen 7 7735HS, RTX 4060, 16GB DDR5, 1TB SSD" posted a few weeks ago, also from Microcenter? How much better is the 7745HX in this compared to the 7735HS in the other computer? Worth the $200 jump in price?

The processor is on a new node, 7735 is a Zen 3+ processor while the 7745 is based on Zen 4 (silly/tricky naming convention I know)

This one also has a larger 80Whr battery, if that is important to you

Pretty cool the upgradeable RAM but damn that 5.5lb weight. I got older IdeaPad 5i that doesn't have upgradeable RAM but has the same great full size keyboard. Mine is 4.3lbs and I found it heavy. Got spoiled once with Thinkpad Carbon at 3lbs. I don't think I could ever do anything over 5lbs if it's a travel laptop.

Hmm...dang would be nice if this one was $800 or less. I'll wait a bit longer to see if there will be more price drops around Christmas.

This is exactly the specs I've been looking for for exactly the price I was hoping to pay. Unfortunately the closest Microcenter is almost 2 hours away. I don't understand why they won't ship these things. I'm not sure I want to spend 4 hours going to get a laptop.

What, dude you not gonna find a deal like this soon. 4 hours worth, is Legion 5 Pro, not Slim, Not 5I. Great build quality, Great specs for that price I'm not an expert but this should cost about $1300. The only downside are 300nits (probably around 340nits because lenovo struggles specifying the exactly amount of nits on their laptops), but it's 100% srgb. Go for it man, or wait 4/5 months for a similar deal like this. We never seen this on BF.
