Tried this thing at a Pinball show (I'm a collector), the lag was so bad, I walked away. You literally press the flipper buttons then wait a sec or two until it actually moves. I've played real virtual pins before, this thing is unplayable.

I wanted one of these so bad but held off for a couple years and thank god I finally played the Star Wars one at Costco last week. It's way smaller than it looks and plays terribly imo. You're better off getting a Quest 2 headset and playing VR pinball. Much better experience for cheaper.

They had something like this at Costco the other day. Pinball on a flat LCD screen just isn't as enjoyable even at 1/10 the cost of a real one. If you enjoy this, you may as well just play pinball on your phone.

Have one. Modded to play all 30 games. There is a milli-vanilli second lag but doesn't take away from the experience. Worth it if you have the space!

I'll disagree a little. I tried the Star Wars one at Costco and it's fun, especially for kids. The lag wasn't terrible and the screen was clear and bright. I'd say they have to be in a certain price range to be worth it but definitely not as bad as people are making it out to be. Expectations are a little high IMHO. It's a novelty, not a replacement.

There are way better options out there for a virtual pinball machine. Arcade 1Up does everything mediocre at best.

I can't see the fun in the electronic tables at this time as they are not compelling. But the Arcade 1Up countercade and partycade form factors and games are tons of fun and can be purchased on sale for what feels reasonable. Play on my Defender partycade has been solid. It has Defender's real button and joystick layout. Hardly mediocre.

My friend has the Star Wars A1Up pinball. I'll take my AtGames Legends Pinball over his any day, but I'm not sure you can even find one nowadays. They were on a massive clearance last year with Sam's Club. About to load it up with a bunch of Pinball FX3 games on Steam.

If you're getting this for aesthetics, I think you'll enjoy it. Especially if space is limited like with my buddy. But if you're looking for replay value, I can't imagine you're going to get your money's worth, even at this price.

If you keep your expectations in check and modd this to the full 30 games(the 30 games are all good quality games), it's not bad at all, it is kind of small but it does have much better hepatics out of the box then atgames does, this actually uses real solenoids inside so you get the "real" effect of bumpers and flippers, the at games one uses some sort of tiny rumble speaker that is just garbage and does not work. So, if you can use the Kohls cash as "cash, then this may be worth is as $500- $100 , etc.... I had it to try out and it was not bad especially if you do not have much room and you add the full 30 games to it..

AtGames learned their lesson. The new 4k box will have the solenoids... but it will cost like $1500!

Yeah, I know, but $1500....NOPE, NOT A CHANCE! I would not give them another $1 because there customer Service is so bad.. At least Arcade1up has always responded promptly and sent out all parts as needed without any issues. Plus, for $1500 how about Atgames put a 1 year warranty on it and not 90 days which you would be lucky if they even respond in that time...
