So Disney "ruins" Star Wars by making things that are in demand more readily available?
Cheapest complete at Sabeforge is like $250 and Vaders Vault is $800+ so not sure what you're talking about here.
You can get custom sabers that are far better for far cheaper. Saberforge and Vaders Vault are two I've heard of, but there's a bunch out there. Just don't go to Ultrasabers, they're pretty reviled.

My friend brought one of these over my house to show me. They are pretty cool.
First thing I said was "I see you have constructed a NEW lightsaber....your skills are complete.."
I had to stop because I burst out laughing, so did he. Total nerd Star Wars moment
Also my favorite scene of ALL the Star Wars movies.
Calling collector items and re issuing them again, again, and again is not ruining? Go head and buy in then, just trying to give you a heads up. Kathleen Kennedy is that you????

The original context was lost in the quote. He was comparing those vendors to the price of building the "stupid expensive" ones at a Disney park, not to the deals posted.
this is the only force fx elite saber i own where the blade doesn't wobble at all when swinging. it's also the heaviest, which makes it feel premium. down side is it's from the sequel trilogy.
Anyone have any opinions on making the stupid expensive one at Disney World? Worth it? The geek in me wants to convince myself to do it.
Savi's Workshop has gone up in price, but it's still a great experience. You choose a theme, then they present you with items to make your saber from the ground up. I enjoyed making my saber at Savi's and for a real Star Wars nerd I strongly suggest the experience. To me it was worth it. YMMV

Not necessarily "cheaper" and zero build experience of crafting the saber from parts, picking your crystal etc. Not even close to the same. The cost is not just the parts for the saber, but also the experience.
As to the quality of the saber, I bought this one from Disney a couple of years ago and there are some minor issues. There are insets that are of course plastic that should look like mother of pearl, but over time they "curl". I have looked at a few different ways to try and hold them down, but don't want to damage the overall hilt. I looked at a couple more Legacy hilts at Disney World and both of the displays I looked at had the same issue. This could be relegated to the Disney Legacy saber or it could be common and even this version has the same problem. Be aware of this if you're in the market for the Leia Saber.
The Leia saber also has 2 pieces. There's a piece for the emitter for display for movie accuracy, and there's a piece for "use" with a blade. To use the blade you unscrew the display emitter and screw on the option piece and then insert the blade. Leia and a couple of other Legacy sabers all do this to maintain movie accuracy for display but allow for use/display with the blade.

If you think this one is heavy, pick up Mace Windu...that's a honking hilt!
When I was your age Leia did not have a lightsaber. After routinely watching 4-5-6-1 marathons as a child, I literally did not go see episode 9 after whatever that 8th movie was.
That's sad for you. 8 was bad. 9 was all retcon of 8. The series is Rogue One, 1-7,9. With the Darklighter cut of 4, and the deeply cut anti JarJar or 1.
If you hate 8, you'll like Andor also.
