I'd personally spend the extra $10 and grab a Series X on sale.

No reason to buy this over the X at current pricing.

What if, in theory, this is $199.99 right now? Would you guys still pick the Series X even though it $150 more? 🫤

Because there is 1 available only in store near me for $200 black series s 1TB.

Decision, decision, decision

Dang. Well $200 is the best they can do. For 1 TB, I'm impressed.

You can get a Series X for $349 from a ton of places right now, many are bundles that even come with a game (Diablo IV, Forza, probably others I'm forgetting seeing).

There's absolutely zero reason to buy this Series S for $10 less, ever.

If you make < $60k a year series S. >= $60k series X.

Make sense. Would the equation be perhaps different if I decide to keep both Series X and 1TB? I like Series S for portability and bedroom. Idk if Series X could be anything unaccommodating

I think you're focusing on the storage size way too much. It really means nothing. The difference is the rest of the internals between the 2. The S would be a mid spec gaming PC from a few years ago where the X is mid to high range PC from last year or so. That's about the best analogy I can come up with. I honestly wouldn't waste the money on the S if you plan on getting an X. The 2 are night and day on performance and graphics.

At some point M$ is going to announce the new Series X in the coming months. You can buy a One X that can play most of the games right now for $100. I don't know, I only see the price going down from here.
