Figures i paid $400 more a couple months ago.
That said its a nice looking shed.
It will require warm temps to put alot of it together so you can strong arm it to flex into position. The roof is definitely a two person job and again let the roof panels heat up in the sun...here in Chicago when It was 80s out was still difficult. Could never get the doors to fit flush and Customer support is missing in action if you need help. I blame the molding and warped parts.
Over all its ok and we will see if it lasts through a Chicagoland winter.
Its not waterproof do open slats where bottom of wall panels attach to floor panels. They are like drains every 24"

I would definitely get it at this price though.

I personally would stay away from "lifetime".. I have a previous post somewhere on the slick that shows a photo of the front of mine it has a split down the seams on all 4 corners after 2 years.. Lifetime did not honor the warranty and are a mockery to be called "lifetime"..
I suggest you try suncast / keter / rubbermaid / sears.. anything but this cheap doodie

Costco and amazon have had sales on wooden sheds this month.

Options were way better last week...
Check reviews! They are a bit rough...
You can always get free plans and buy and cut the stuff for less than one of these kits...
Costco does have sales on them a few times a year...
I have been been watching prices for about 18 months.

Don't recommend dry pouring concrete. Rent a mixer from home depot for the concrete and use mesh rebar or use real rebar and do it properly.

A wooden platform sitting on blocks is typically better for these because it reduces moisture in the shed. It costs less to build, less time to build, you can move it or remove it easier when the time comes, less damage to existing root structures of trees.

pier foundation works too, or any type of foundation really, don't need to pour a whole slab just for this. you're not storing anything that's gonna weight like 3000 pounds per in.

This may be an odd question but how easy/hard would it be to move this after building it? We plan on building a house down the street and I just want to know how feasible it would be to move it. Would it be easier or harder to move with a decking style foundation? Thanks in advance.
Have moved it too.
Rememeber my comment about wood rot. Yes happened to me. So it slides off really easily. But you will have to have another platform to slide this onto.

Or you can just unscrew bunch of screws. And move it that way. Have done that too. Takes time but doable.

Can anyone vouch if this is a good deal? It says Lifetime, just significantly larger (8x15) at around the same price. Siding looks different though and the normal price here is significantly less.

Fair warning, it's wayfair so of course it's listed wrong. $1099 is the price for the 8x7.5, not the 8x15 (which is over $2k and sold out).

Just FYI
That price is for the 8x7.5 shed. The 8x15 you quoted is $2249.... and out of stock

I have a Lifetime shed (and an array of other Lifetime products (tables, chairs, etc).

My shed is 10X12 and it's great. Me and the neighbor had it up in a few hours, not counting the foundation. We had two cordless screwguns going.

The only assembly issue was getting the swinging doors to line up perfectly. took a minute, but got there eventually.

Mine is dry, tight and pretty solid. It's only been a few months, but if it's anything like my other Lifetime holdings it will be fine.

For $1,000 this is a deal!
Do you see any holes or gap between panels or joints? I am in Georgia and snakes are have lot of snakes around.

8x15 at 1099 is certainly a better deal than 8x12.5 for 999. Go with what you need. If you have the space go with 15'

Also inside scoop.. these are all modular. Built with 2.5' incremental modules. Walls, flooring roof. So if you wanted to do 8x10 or 8x12.5 Or want to do 8x20' ... you can!
Where do you see $1099? 8x15 is above $2100. I checked this yesterday.

Permit and engineering kills the deal engineers are 3-5k in Florida for these things
I highly doubt that Florida is more strict on ANYTHING than New York. E.G., we get fines for putting our garbage pails out before 7pm, riding a bicycle without a helmet, smoking within 100 feet of school grounds, not having a front license plate, or even just for beating our wives.
Yet, we are allowed any shed with permits, inspections, etc. as long as it is single story, less than 144 square feet, behind the house line, and at least 3 feet from any property edge.
I'm guessing maybe you opted into a community within Florida with its own set of regulations, such as 'no vehicles larger than a golf cart' or 'no more than 5 dogs tied up in the front yard?'

Ya, I'm pretty handy and wouldn't mind building one myself. The kits seem to have more bad reviews than good reviews. Have you found decent shed plans online?
I think it's more of people in over their heads than the sheds themselves.. Also, you can find tons of free plans on pintrest
