First off, these aren't subscriptions. It's a perpetual license key. A subscription infers it renews after some period of time. To call these "subs" or subscriptions is a misnomer.

Second, this is not Office 365 in case anyone was confused. It's Office 2021 Home and Business (a retail product) meant for home business users.

Third, these do not include the 1TB OneDrive that is included in Microsoft 365. This is just apps.

If you don't need cloud storage, and just need apps, and want to take a shot that these keys are legit, I guess $20 isn't a big gamble. This product (legit license) is $250 from Microsoft [microsoft.com]. If you think you get the same thing for $20 then this deal is for you.

Most likely grey market, here's a great write-up from another deal regarding what that means: https://slickdeals.net/f/16878332-microsoft-office-home-business-2021-lifetime-license-for-windows-or-mac-35?p=165501458#post165501458

I just received my key and was able to successfully activate. It's kinda sketchy because the key doesn't work on Microsoft's redeem website and you have to download their specific img file from mycodes24.

I've heard that before, but how does that work? Using your work license on a personal device.
The IT guy i talked to said i just have to activate Office using my work email and password.

I first only saw the big bold text saying :
"Microsoft Office 2021 Product Keys: Home & Business $53, Professional Plus"

All Groupon, Stack Social, and other independent Media Marketplace sites, are mostly selling re-purposed re-used off-licenses created/discovered by an international install-code finder person/group. They go by many names (often "NerdUsed") and they sell their international software install-codes from $2 to $50 per code, depending on the country, site fees, etc.
or install guarantee from anyone.
Yep. These are definitely reused keys, their instructions even have a direction there to call and activate via phone if it says too many activations.

Anyone else uncomfortable using the ISO provided by a third party for the install? No idea how it may have been modified. I was hoping to find a way to get the ISO from MS but haven't had any luck yet.

I finally got a key. Note in the email it says "In order to benefit from this limited campaign, you must activate your product within 30 days."

Yeah, I'm not willing to do so, so I'm requesting a refund.
The software is likely fine and unadulterated, but I can afford to buy a license from Microsoft, so that's what I plan to do.
365 Personal is $50/ year through work, and that's good enough. I hate the idea of subscribing to software, but that's where everything is headed. May as well give in now since it's inevitable :-)

I was nervous about how legit this was but I got my code (maybe it took 6 hours), installed everything, used the code to activate, and everything seems fine at the moment.

In the email I got, the links to the installation ISO was a microsoft.com download link, what's the concern with that? If it was hosted at a non-Microsoft site I'd understand the concern.

The Download itself is from Microsoft servers. See the answer in below link.

So the Download is legit from Microsoft. The key is what's grey market.

Understood, and as I said, I assume the link is legitimate.
I was on the fence between buying 2021 and 365 personal. Getting the price down to $15 pushed me to 2021...having to use a link I can't locate from google searches is pushing me back.
Plus all the haters in this thread talking about how 365 has ALL the features (all of which I bet I'll never use...but you know, FOMO.) :-D
