Ahh yes but why was it outlawed? That would make things clearer. Stop fear mongering. To make things clear Titanium Dioxide dust is potentially harmful when inhaled. There's no risk to people eating food or candy containing it, the concern is that the workers involved in manufacturing where it's used as a raw ingredient could be exposed to levels that would cause lung disease. It's a lot more effective to just ban the ingredient that has safer alternatives than to try to get every manufacturer to have their workers wear dust masks all the time.

I was about to buy this but thank god the SD contingent who has no intention of buying it took over the thread to let everyone know that this candy isn't a health food. Dodged a bullet and bought celery instead.

Don't go on a rant, don't go on a rant.....ok so here we have a company that uses a red dye that has now been banned in California because it causes cancer. Screw the kids that eat this crap..let's make money.... Our entire food industry and for that matter what ever we wash with, drink etc, etc they make crap that literally kills you...So theres that....ok carry on

Mine is the same as yours except my state doesn't charge sale taxes on all foods which includes candies.
