On the other hand... I have had zero issues with P7P for the past 8 months. Not sure why you had so much trouble setting up a finger print. It only took me a minute or two AND it works every single time. Battery life isn't as good as my work Samsung 22, but I end with about 40% on a heavy use day. I am sure the Moto is great, but I really enjoy the photos and smooth software experience (ie, no bloat wear.)

I experienced the opposite of this, maybe you received a dud. I've had the P7P since it came out, wife has P6P. They have both been amazing.

there are always ppl who have good experiences and ppl who have bad experiences with literally everything. check the samsung forums and you'll find ppl who are/have had bad experiences with samsung phones. big surprise ! literally happens with every product in every industry. ppl don't like WD ! but they love seagate ! ppl love WD but don't like seagate ! ppl hate intel ! but love AMD.. other hate AMD but love intel !.. i dunno man.. glad you're able to vent somewhere.. but while you're not alone.. you're also on one side of a coin where the otherside has had/having the complete diff experience. hope you feel better tho

Wish more phones had MicroSD storage. Would love to try a Pixel phone if it had one.
Google wants to sell you cloud storage. Same with apple. Having 128gb in a phone shouldn't be allowed, especially with high power cameras, apps, media, and everything else

Anyone else with a P7P end up with a permanent screen defect that's a full brightness white line down the screen? It's not visible in screenshots it's just max brightness white pixels... Trying to figure out if I was sold a brand new or refurbished screen. You can PM me to not clog discussion

This issue with the pixels lately is the hardware and it seems like the battery on all of them are trash and the software drains them easily. So someone could get a good one while others have completely different issues.

Are you getting kickbacks for thinkPhones? I've had my P7 since its release and have had zero issues. Its a great phone.
Are you getting kickbacks for Pixel phones? It's been trash for many people, so you must be paid by Google. Peace

As someone who paid near retail for the pixel 7 at launch feels like a small punch in the gut every time these weekly price drops are posted 🤣.

Thoughts on expected trade in value for a Samsung s24 ultra in the new year? Historically you could get $800 for the latest Google phone. Given this is a gen old would $700 be reasonable? $700-$550(p7 with tax) is still $150 bonus.

How did you pay full price for Pixel 7 when there were many months of deals for them on Slickdeals during release??

Google hasn't made a smaller phone since the pixel 4a and the 5. I am using the 6a begrudgingly, but I hope they push to make these phones a little smaller. The 7 pro is too big IMO

I have the 7a and not the 7 Pro. I'm going to sell it and get the Samsung A54.

The battery drain on the 7a is horrible. I spent weeks doing resets, tweeks, checking battery health and got nowhere. The fact is, the Tensor G2 chipset performs well, but is very inefficient and power hungry.

Maybe I've also been lucky with no fingerprint sensor issues on the P7P or P6a. In my experience, the fingerprint sensor on my S22 rarely works, so no luck there.
That might be a screen protector issue.. you can turn up the sensitivity and it works alot better.

pixel 8 is first pixel I've kept since pixel 5. 6 and 7 sucked.
