Yes. All you're getting for your $5 is the "Deluxe" upgrade. Two skins, a digital art book, and a BTS video.

Though, if you stop paying for game pass you will still have the entire game plus the "deluxe" so I guess there's that.

If you buy this for $5 then you own the game forever. Even if your GPU lapses or they take it off GPU or end their EA Play partnership.

I hope this isnt a really dumb question but i dont have a console and only play through cloud streaming on my TV. Am i able to purchase digital games somehow or do u have to have a physical console to save the games to? Thank you

If you have gamepass ultimate, the progress of the games (available on gamepass) you play is saved on the cloud. And you can continue the progress later either in cloud or even on a console if you ever get one. BUT, if you purchase the deluxe version, you won't be able to play that on the cloud if you discontinue gamepass ultimate.

Not buying any of these fake editions with no additional content above the base game, so far I bought the complete AC Valhalla one for $12 because it included dlc with extra gameplay.
