There's another bundle for $20 that has The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners 1 & 2 VR games in it too.

How easy is it to get these working on the Quest 2?

Steam for quest just came out. You still have to run steam on your PC, but it's way easier than having to use the meta link cable.

YMMV with performance though. It'll take a robust WiFi to be seamless.

If you haven't run SteamVR before for VR games, I would find a free Steam PCVR game on which to test your PC and your Wifi performance. Like Justin said, you can use the new Steam Link, or the embedded Quest 2 Airlink (there's also Virtual Desktop, but that's not free).

I've got an extra Amid Evil VR code if anyone has something to trade.

Yes. You don't need a system that fast, but it can't hurt. Just try to have a dedicated AP for your VR unit, on it's own channel (different from your other router, APs), and make sure everything is hardlined (AP to primary router, PC to primary router).

Nice. I have no interest in horror games, but the value is really high.

That's a good deal, even if you ignore all the non-VR games in the bundle (most of which I don't own). I would get it if I didn't own the first part. I will eventually get Chapter 2: Retribution, but not worth $20 for it alone.

Ummm, can you describe everything you said as if you're talking to a 1st grader? Just got Quest 2 for my teen, and I'm not computer savvy. Thanks.

I can try. AP = Access Point, usually another router set in AP mode - it's basically a repeater - relaying info to your primary router. An AP can be set to a different frequency (channel) than your primary router, which minimizes interference between the AP and Primary router WiFi channels. If your main router is not near your VR "play area", then I would make sure you have an addition AP dedicated to your VR unit. If you do, make sure you line a hard wire, an Ethernet cable, from your AP to your Primary - in other words, don't use a wireless AP because it will cause massive wireless interference, and latency.

And, make sure your gaming PC, that is running Steam, is also on the LAN, not using a Wifi connection to your primary router.

The point is to remove all unnecessary wireless traffic from the VR connection, both because of latency, and interference. Sorry if that wasn't on 1st grade level, but I tried. ;-)

You can PM (private message) me if you need me to clarify.

You need to plug your PC in the outlet. And make sure not to touch the metal prongs while doing it.
Lol, ok thats easy enough. Thanks! Smilie

SteamVR crashes my computer....some graphics cards aren't supported or ironed out yet. Lots of forums talk about turning off radeon recording hotkeys...haven't figured it out yet...

I'll be honest, none of these games are very good or, at least, there are plenty of other games that would scratch the same itch for not a lot of money. The game you get the coupon for is good but everyone else is old, simple, or just not that fun.
Each to his own I guess but coming from a guy with over 3,000 games on Steam, which around 400+ are VR titles, and the owner of a small VR game studio, I would say get it if you have the money to burn but if you're on the fence or things are right right now, you can skip this one boss.
