I had Moto G Power, Moto G stylus, both 2020 release. These great mid range phones. I do not play games, but for everything else these phones work perfectly. I do not know about Moto Edge 2022 offered by T-Mobile, but Moto Edge 2023 is at least as good as my Pixel 6 Pro, my be not as good in Photo department, but other than that it looks and behaves like premium phone.

Go to the other (previous) thread.

More subscribers complain because either TMO or Costco (or both) messed up the gift card process.

Also, more subscribers still waiting for their GC

I was saving all new Sims too but then had to dispose them all (what a waist) because when I tried to activate them , tmobile rep told me, if they have not been used for 6 months or more, its trash, just need to get a new ones
If that's the case, look at the expiration on the card and mention it. They'll credit you if they charge you for a new sim. At least they did for me.

Once you see the promo is applied to the line, you can sell, gift or throw it to trash and you still get the credit every month. You do not need to open the box at all.
And doesn't it remain locked to Tmo unless you pay it off and actually open it and unlock it? That would be an important thing to mention since unlocked phones sell for more.

The way to do not is to pay off the phone. Make sure the promo credits are applied to your line. Unlock phone. Then sell.

Pixel 8 is free with a new line. Only $10/month for me so $240 total. Don't add a line for this.

I just unlocked one. After paying off the balance, insert the SIM for 40 days, then go to settings, about phone, device unlocked.

Can I just get the phone and not activate it but still get the credits monthly? I will send in my trade in phone. Has anyone tried this and still get the credits after 90 days and get costco $75. Want to keep the phone as a spare in case I lose my unlock phone.

When I go through the checkout, I see $5 for my trade and $493 for credit. That's makes sense.

What doesn't make sense is a total monthly charge of $0.20. What is this??

Btw, I'm on the 2 Lines ONE Plan All In Promo plan. Taxes and fees included.

i actually got the monthly credits in my account before i even receive the phone. I did make few test call/text/data to make sure phone is fully functional before leaving it in the drawer. If phones doesnt work the way it suppose to, you can still get it replaced within 30 days. This happened to me one time when i bought a moto z phone few yrs ago. Took that phone out the box after few months and found out phone speaker wasnt working. I had to use earphone to get the other side to hear me talking

Did you have to keep the sim continuously active in the phone for 40 days?

it make sense to me.

t-mobile paid you $5 for your phone up front to your bill.

The edge cost $498.

$498-$493=5

$5 for 24 months ia about 20 cents per month.

in your mind, you probally think you get $5 and $498 from T-mobile thats why you're confused.

For all trade-in deal on t-mobile. You want to have your device worth $0. This way you get the full $498 credit. Then you wont see any device eip charge on the bill each month.
