Yes I'll keep ya'll updated. But let me clarify that they will price match UP TO 10% MAX, so the max will be $179.99 off the retail price $1619.89 before taxes. They won't directly price match the $1499. Which doesn't make it better however, if you're able to purchase with an Apple Credit Card you'll get 3% cash back which is another $48~ back which comes out to roughly $1572. Doesn't beat this price but for anyone who wants to deal directly with Apple, not a bad option.

Once you account for thermals, 16 inch wins.

I would have probably jumped on this deal. I went with a M1 Pro 16GB MBP 16" from microcenter for $1100. The whole memory and storage upgrade prices are offensive. 256 gb for the base storage just isn't enough. Really wanted the M3 and I could have dealt with just one external display. Seems like a great price as I looked for 2 weeks and didn't find anything at this price point for a M3 with 16GB and 512 storage.
