$68 is the lowest I've ever seen in that covered 12" frying pan.

Good deal.

some reviews on youtube (link below) showed the hex stuff is really sticky and kinda not matching the ads. Besides, it's some kind of coating, which I decided to be done with and not use at home anymore. So we got the all clad stuff and so far so good. Just watch some youtube videos on how to use properly use an all clad - mostly preheat on medium/medium-low dry, put oil , then food.

I think this is a great price for All Clad but I'm holding out for these new Hexidecimal non-stick pots & pans from Gordon Ramsey. Anyone have experience between the two?

Coated vs non coated. It doesn't matter what the ads says, non-stick = coated

If you want a high-performance non-stick skillet that lasts a lifetime, get carbon steel and keep it maintained and seasoned. Anything that is coated non-stick, like HexClad, will wear out and need to be replaced eventually, probably within a couple years. And HexClad's non-stick performance is pretty poor, so you're better off with a cheap coated non-stick that performs well until it doesn't.

The 14" covered saute pan I bought is bumped out in the middle of the bottom which makes it awful to use on an induction (or any electric) stove as it wobbles around and only one side is on the heat at a time.

There's plenty of competition and lots of people making comparable or better cookware for the same or less money these days.

Yep, allclads patent expired lol. Plenty of other brands have the same quality for cheaper.
