My parents are under my family plan. I wonder if we'd qualify for the same promo again with my Dad's Verizon number or if the deal only works with primary account holder.

When you go to the store, ask them to do a "click to call" with customer service "loyalty." Basically they go into your account and get a direct connection to an agent who calls your phone while you're there in the store. Make sure to know your Verizon pin number, and bring your ID with you.

Does anyone know if there would be any issues with cancelling service if I signed up for the Cyber Monday (free Xbox Series S + $200 Amazon gc) but have not even unboxed and activated the 5g modem yet? I don't want to be charged back for gc or xbox that I haven't even received. Also don't want to waste a bunch of time begging cs reps for better promos, which might not even track properly.

Supposedly the Xbox Series X will be the bonus starting on the 14th. Or would it be better to activate now and gamble on receiving a Series X due to Series S being out of stock?

I signed up yesterday and had a lot of trouble with Verizon website/system. Order got stuck but store called and was able to complete it for me. I got email for Amazon GC right away but Xbox offer didn't show up. I contacted VZ CS and was told the system is not working but should be fixed by 12/14, which coincides with the rumored Xbox X timing. Has anyone else got the same issue and info?

ymmv but I received a Series X on on 12/9 while the Series S was still in stock (in stores at least) - I was instantly upgraded to the X when I redeemed the offer - I did in store pickup minutes after picking up my router and the store I got the Series X at had several Series S in stock.
