Be careful with the warranty. I did the same thing for an electric scooter and it broke before the warranty was up. They tell you to bring it to a shop and get an estimate of repairs. The warranty covers up to the cost of the item, in this case, it's 55 bucks. If the repair is $200, they will only owe you 55 bucks and you pay the rest. They want to see the repair bill paid in full before they cut you that $55 check. You now just paid 145 for the radio if the repair is only 200. B E W A R E of these warranties from Walmart - I believe they use Allstate which owns Squaretrade.

Seems ok, but the lack of information is troubling. What OS does it run? What are the RAM/ROM specs?
Carplay/AA is WIRED, not wireless.

Reviews on Amazon are not the best [amazon.com]. Complaint of dead units and volume resetting to max.

Seems you can get similar or better on AliExpress for the same price or lower.
Still...might be ok for an older or spare car, I wouldn't put in in my Daily Driver.

It uses standard radio connections, so it's like any aftermarket head unit with Double DIN slot.
You will need a harness for your car unless you're ok cutting the OEM harness or using vampire taps to connect it.
If you have funky/custom trim around the stock radio you will also need a new one to fit this.

Pretty much the only warranty programs that aren't a total scam anymore is either credit card protection (where applicable) or harbor freight.

on that note, anyone know how i can get apple carplay or android auto to play youtube on the car. sometimes i just sit in the car for almost an hour so it can help ease the time.
