Unscrew the lid. The flip-top doesn't let enough air in and it glugs and makes a mess. If you pour from higher up, the flow will decrease in cross-sectional area, also making it easier to have it all go in.

Saw the regular (no special scent) version in Costco for $8.99 for 2 bottles of 80oz each, works out to be about the same on a per oz basis.

Sam's has their version for 7.99 for 160oz which is 0.05 cts per oz, which comes up to be a dollar cheaper when compared to this deal for 160 oz

I don't know what math your using but you get 150oz at Walmart vs 140oz at Costcos and it's Walmarts is about 51 cents cheaper and it has a better smell.

This use to be my go to soap years ago, then they changed for formula and it had the consistency that was thinner then water… so from what I'm hearing, its back to feeling like soap again? For $3 worth a shot i guess
This one is definitely thicker imo. It can be hard to fill the pump bottles as the air has a hard time escaping through the opening of whatever you are filling. I use a little funnel and tap it a bit to get it to go in. Takes a bit longer but not too bad. Well worth saving a few bucks and we really like the light lemon/citrus smell and it works well. Doesn't take much to wash my hands, like half a pump. Lasts a long time before needing a refill.

I wonder why this flavor (err, scent?) is the only one that's consistently cheaper than the others

Are these as watery as the Softsoap refills sold by Amazon?
Maybe I just got unlucky, but the last Softsoap 50oz refill I bought from Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081FFRGZB ) turned out to be extremely watery. I also have a bottle Softsoap refill purchased from Costco and the difference in viscosity is night and day.

2 x 80 = 160 oz not 140 oz. It's practically the same price, especially once you consider how two big Costco bottles = less packaging and less wasted soap that clings to the sides of the plastic. And with the Costco version, you don't get any additional chemicals for the scent. Both deals are ok if you're already a Costco member. It depends on how much you want 2-bottle convenience vs. 3-4 bottles, and how much you like the smell of this version. Also on whether or not you have free shipping at Walmart or not (if W+ member or can easily hit $35 cart size).

My experience with this one has been that it is pretty thick and goopy/gel like. Been using it, mostly all bought from Walmart, for a couple years or so.

Also wanted to add this one doesn't cling to the bottles like some of the others. When it's getting low, I put the bottle upside down for a bit, and it is very easy to get next to all of it out. Very little waste with this one. 🙂👍

I got the combo pack from Costco when it was sale I think more than a year ago, almost getting over, so good time to get another. but same costco sale is on going now, that's 2, 80oz.

The next cheapest soap refill is Hill country fare has 56oz for $3.94. Which comes down to 0.07c/oz. This is 5.6c/oz

Not bad for those who already have Walmart+ or want to get the free trial for it
Dollar tree has a spa soap refill, 32oz for $1.25. made in Canada, branding looks like soft soap knock off. Might feel "watery" to some but it lathers well. I think it's a decent soap. Definitely unmatched for the price

This is not an anti-bacterial from the ingredients. It "washes" away bacteria, but isn't an out-right bacteria killer. Heads up for anyone who is looking for an anti-bacterial soap - this isn't it.

When you buy big refill bottles like this one regardless of what brand, you always make sure you have a smaller or medium size bottle for it correct... the one that you use?

Also how is this compared to dial? Dial is still the best right?

I can turn this into foam by watering down before putting in a foam pump right?
