For anyone who would like to remove the permissions you granted for this deal, go here: https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Then, look for an entry called "gweb-play-points-app"

You can remove the permissions by clicking on the entry, then at the bottom you click on "Delete all connections you have with gweb-play-points-app"

Ok, I chatted with support and rep said that the 40% off requires you to be at gold level for at least 10 days before it will work. This promo is good until 12/31. The trade-in values and current google store discounts are supposed to remain the same until 12/31 so I guess you can wait 10 days and get this deal without losing on any current deals.

Google doesn't let promos stack. This will be off the MSRP and not their current ongoing discount.

Has anyone ever returned a phone within the return window and bought the same model phone for a promo price? Google Store reps will not honor the price since the phone I originally bought was also on promo. Do they check the serial number on return?

They would absolutely check serial on return. Huge fraud opportunity if they didn't.

I just ordered. $636 out the door. Trading in a pixel 6a for $220. Total at the end will be $416. Thanks for posting this. I currently have a pixel 7 amd I will be giving that one to my mom. I'll trade her pixel 6a. Win win for both.

It adds the discount to the Google store. I added the deal on my phone and was able to checkout at the Google Store on my desktop by going to store.google.com.

Pixel 8 = $699 - 40% = $419?
Pixel Tablet = $499 - 40% = 299?

Serial # is on the order once it ships

also, why would you return and rebuy? you only get back what you paid

Am I missing something? How about I just use my Google Play Rewards to buy a month of 2TB storage, buy the Pixel 8 Pro, get 10% back AND get 40% off, and then switch back to 200GB tire next month. Doesn't that totally game this discount?
