For anyone who would like to remove the permissions you granted for this deal, go here: https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Then, look for an entry called "gweb-play-points-app"

You can remove the permissions by clicking on the entry, then at the bottom you click on "Delete all connections you have with gweb-play-points-app"

Ok, I chatted with support and rep said that the 40% off requires you to be at gold level for at least 10 days before it will work. This promo is good until 12/31. The trade-in values and current google store discounts are supposed to remain the same until 12/31 so I guess you can wait 10 days and get this deal without losing on any current deals.

Google doesn't let promos stack. This will be off the MSRP and not their current ongoing discount.

This post has had the wrong prices listed:

Google Pixel 8: From $329.40
Google Pixel Tablet: From $299.40
Google Pixel 8 Pro: From $599.40

The discount is off of MSRP not sale price. That makes the Pixel 8 lowest price of $419.40

You have to clarify what you mean by "locked" to specific carrier then yes, Google or icloud lock NO
This does not seem to be correct. Here is what I saw in the trade-in terms - "unlock Your Device (including removing Your Device from any services that prevent it from being activated)," here [google.com]

That means you have to fully own it... can't just send in a phone that is owned by the carrier until the bill credits pay it off years later

Most people here will trade in an older pixel...hence a pixel 8 starting at under $200 is outstanding and beats any previous deal to date.

I have a Pixel 6a to trade in, but what does that have to do about the incorrect information in a frontpage posting?

This changes things assuming the Google Store credit doesn't expire. I would net over $200 in store credit by buying a new device and returning the old one. Thanks!

Your trade-in is credited back to your purchase method, for example, credit card. If your trade-in credit is more than your purchase price, the remainder is given as a Google Store credit.

Nothing...it was already stated multiple times... don't focus on that as it is more important to focus on the net price after trade in...most people here have shopped at google store before and know that one discount per transaction...

Not sure that is entirely true, it looked like when I initiated the return the amount of the trade in was deducted from the refund and put into a separate line titled store credit or something. The trade in was definitely not more than the purchase price.
