For anyone who would like to remove the permissions you granted for this deal, go here: https://myaccount.google.com/connections

Then, look for an entry called "gweb-play-points-app"

You can remove the permissions by clicking on the entry, then at the bottom you click on "Delete all connections you have with gweb-play-points-app"

Ok, I chatted with support and rep said that the 40% off requires you to be at gold level for at least 10 days before it will work. This promo is good until 12/31. The trade-in values and current google store discounts are supposed to remain the same until 12/31 so I guess you can wait 10 days and get this deal without losing on any current deals.

Thanks for this deal OP. I was already Gold but didn't know about it. I bought a pixel 8 during the Black Friday deal but this would save me another 110 bucks. I tried to get Google to do a price adjustment and they refused (twice). I told them it was smarter to do that than to return and rebuy but they're offering me no other option, so I guess that's what I'm doing to do to save another 110 bucks.

Same thing I ended up doing since they have a nonsense rule that if there was already a promo applied to the purchase the price protection is null and void.
