I can confirm. I got in on the last deal and it is in fact touchscreen. Great value at this price point

one concern I have is that the unit seems a little finicky trying to power back up after it goes to sleep or is shut down. not sure how, if all, that can be resolved (unless this is considered 'normal' behavior)

Just recieved mine yesterday evening and I can confirm that I does have a touchscreen. no backlit keyboard but yes a touchscreen, and so far it has been running smoothly.

I don't think it's normal.
This is what I had experienced with my last Acer Aspire 5 (core i5-1135G7).
It's one of the major reasons making me to sell it after few months and replaced it with a Lenovo (core i3-1215U).

Can confirm its touch screen, it arrived with a laptop pouch, cosmetically in almost perfect condition it has a few smudges of dirt on it which were easily cleaned off.. for what I got I think I got a great deal. Ordered a Logitech mouse to go with it for $25 on Amazon. It said on the battery life indicator it would go for 6 hours running light programs but I think if you were running games or videos it would be significantly less but the battery seems to be in good working order.
