I can confirm. I got in on the last deal and it is in fact touchscreen. Great value at this price point

one concern I have is that the unit seems a little finicky trying to power back up after it goes to sleep or is shut down. not sure how, if all, that can be resolved (unless this is considered 'normal' behavior)

Just recieved mine yesterday evening and I can confirm that I does have a touchscreen. no backlit keyboard but yes a touchscreen, and so far it has been running smoothly.

Yes USB-C charging available. GOT THIS during Black Friday Deal. Great for the Price, only issue is with Sleep where it runs out of charge need to play with Windows settings. Like the laptop for the price, pretty snappy for everyday use and as a PLEX server..

Thought I read somewhere that it was already configured as dual channel with the 16gb onboard. I heard there are no ram slots and the 16gb chips are soldered directly to the main board.

Has anyone tried using the 2.1 HDMI port to a 4K TV? Or at least verify it is in fact a 2.1 HDMI port.

What was the highest refresh rate you could get? I'm wondering if this can handle 4K @ 60 Hz? Or higher? For video playback, not gaming.

Ryzen 5 5500U has 6 cores and is faster than 4 core Ryzen 5 7520. Ryzen 5 5500U graphics is also faster. Both are Zen 2 architecture.
